A makeup artists’ pride and joy are her beauty products. The array of colours, pallets, powders and nail polish are managed with skillful art, and all is well with the world until any kind of accident that gets powders and colours crashing to the ground and spilling all over the carpet.

The Solution:
Our cleaning technician visited the customer’s flat in Russell Square and assessed the extent of the makeup stains on the bedroom carpet, as well as the specifics of the carpet. The stains had soaked into the carpet fabrics and, together with the light carpet colour, these further complicated the case. Strictly following our 9-step carpet cleaning process, our technician first deeply vacuumed the carpet to remove any soiling before the makeup stains treatment. The stains were then treated with appropriate professional carpet cleaning detergents. The carpet was then thoroughly steam cleaned to remove leftover dust and stains.
To complete the cleaning makeup process, the excess water was also removed from the carpet that was cleaned so that it would dry quickly and not stay moist for too long, causing compromise to the material, deterioration from underneath, or development of odour and mould.
The Result:
Our customer was satisfied with a freshly cleaned and makeup-free carpet. Makeup stains that she would not have been able to get rid of were completely removed (along with other dust and stains) by our highly trained cleaning technicians.
